BTC - Cost Basis (USD)
Description
The Bitcoin Cost Basis is also known as the Realized Price. It is calculated by dividing the realized cap by the total supply.
Bitcoin's USD Market Price is included for reference.
Pseudocode
for each block in blockchain:
block.costbasis_usd := block.real_cap / block.total_supply
(x,y) := (block.time, costbasis_usd)
for each hour in blockchain:
hr_costbasis_usd := open(blockchain[hr_start:hr_end].costbasis_usd)
(x,y) := (hour, hr_costbasis_usd)
for each day in blockchain:
day_costbasis_usd := open(blockchain[day_start:day_end].costbasis_usd)
(x,y) := (day, day_costbasis_usd)
