BTC - Percent Block Weight BRC-20 (%)
Description
The Bitcoin Percent Block Weight BRC-20 shows the percentage of each block's total weight used for BRC-20 reveal transactions (inscriptions) for each time period.
Data starts at BRC-20's first block: 767430 (Dec 14, 2022)
Bitcoin's USD Market Price is included for reference.

for each block in blockchain:
block.weight_adj := block.weight - sum(block.brc_tx[].weight)
block.weight_perc := (block.weight_adj / block.weight) * 100
(x,y) := (block.time, block.weight_perc)
for each hour in blockchain:
hr_weight_perc := avg(blockchain[hr_start:hr_end].weight_perc)
(x,y) := (hour, hr_weight_perc)
for each day in blockchain:
day_weight_perc := avg(blockchain[day_start:day_end].weight_perc)
(x,y) := (day, day_weight_perc)
Technical Info
BRC-20 transaction weight here is calculated using only reveal transactions. Commit outputs/transactions are not included. Since commit transactions can contain many commit outputs and no inscription payload, they affect block weight and similar metrics far less than reveal transactions.
